Our Story

        Today, four decades have passed since the emergence of the Yuvajana sports & arts club in Chembilode Panchayat, where it has been actively involved in the social and cultural sphere.        Club's early office was on the first floor of Kumaran's shop.  K.C Rajan as Secretary and C.Bhaskaran taking over as President.     
 One of the most spectacular events the club has ever had is a football match in the first leg.  The club won a spectacular victory in a football tournament in 1977 which was conducted at Irikkur during the Emergency.  When the players and villagers went to the playground by hiring a special bus, it was clear that the club members had great affinity for football matches.     The only thing left to play football was the Palachal stadium.  The land was private, and over time the ground was lost.  Subsequently, the club was under constant pressure to build a panchayat stadium.    
   When the AKG Memorial Library was opened in 1983, the club's office was relocated.        The club's contribution to the Panchayat Cancer Eradication Awareness and People Planning campaign is significant.  The club has been actively involved in social inclusion and awareness of plastic manufacturers.  
  The club was actively involved in organizing and competing in art events ranging from the Youth Festival to the Kerala Festival held today.  In many years, it has gained the reputation of being the best club in the Panchayat.       The club was able to represent the district in the Kerala Festival and win the state level.       A large number of awareness classes are conducted in collaboration with the government media.  It is affiliated with the Nehru Center, the Sports Council and the Central Field Publicity.        Children's competitions and art competitions have been held as part of Onam celebration for years.
